I am very happy with the outcome of the Dred Scott Case. I agree with Supreme Court Chief Justice Taney that because Scott isn’t even human he doesn’t have the right to sue a human. He actually doesn’t have any rights at all because he isn't a citizen of the United States of America either. I think what made the negro look dumbest was when he was able to have his freedom for two years and then they put him right back into slavery. How about when he ask that poor mourning widow to pay him for his work. His job isn't that difficult. I don’t understand why he would even need the money he couldn’t possibly buy anything. He would probably use it to pay slave owners to free other slaves too. I have to admit though it has been scary because a lot of slaves have been suing their masters and have been winning their freedom. But I think that the outcome of the trial really showed that the country is really a confederacy and sooner or later the United States will have to abide by the laws of the Confederates. I believe that the Confederates States are stronger than the Union because we were able to establish a whole new congress in a much shorter time than them.
